Thinking about quitting on January 1?

Quitting around the holiday season can be tough.  You’ll probably find yourself in many situations where you used to smoke.  You can give yourself a better chance of quitting successfully if you set your quit date later in January when you’ll be less tempted to smoke.

You might be thinking about the best way to quit.  Many people give up smoking by themselves. Others talk to a health professional or use medication. Whatever quitting method you use you're not alone in being worried about how you'll cope without cigarettes. Making a plan can help you understand why you smoke and get you ready to quit.
