WHO head calls for world support of new Australian smoking laws.
Leading researchers, policy-makers and health ministers gathered from all over the world to attend the 15th World Conference on Tobacco or Health in Singapore last week.
World Health Organisation Director-General Dr Margaret Chan used the event to call on the world to support Australia as the tobacco industry attempts to overturn plain packaging laws.
