Why Can't We Smoke At School: Guidelines to address students' smoking is a resource developed by Quit Victoria with ideas to manage students found smoking at school. It includes a letter to parents and a tool to help students develop a management plan to not smoke at school.
In September 2003, the former Prevention Programs Manager, Ian Ferretter, presented at the International Drug Education Conference, in Noosa, Australia. The presentation, called Students Smoking At School: A Health Response [738.6 kb], outlined Quit Victoria's Why Can't We Smoke At School? approach in managing students to not smoke at school.
