A range of health and community professionals become accredited as Quit Educators so they can incorporate Quit's smoking cessation programs within their practice.
Examples of professionals who become Quit Educators are nurses, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists, dieticians, mental health workers, youth workers and prison officers.
Accredited Educators are able to run all of Quit's programs for the general community or for specific target groups. Community courses are usually run at community health centres and are open to the general public, while targeted courses are run on-site for a specific organisation's client group.
