What is the Quitline?
Quitline is a telephone service available to smokers who want to quit.
You can call the Quitline from anywhere in Australia for the cost of a local call (except for mobile phones – normal charges apply). Your call is confidential. This means you don't have to give your name if you don't want to.
Quit's friendly professional advisors are there to help you. They have helped thousands of Australians to quit.
How can Quitline help?
When you ring the Quitline, you can ask for a Quit pack to be sent free of charge.
Also, you can ask to speak to a trained advisor. They have had a great deal of experience in helping people quit. Quitline's friendly advisors know how hard it can be to quit smoking. They are never judgemental about people who smoke. They have helped thousands of Australians to quit. This service is available from 8 am to 8 pm, Mondays to Fridays.
