I used to be a very heavy smoker. Sometimes I would smoke up to 30 to 40 cigarettes a day.
I started smoking when I was 17, and by the time I was 26, I had so many health problems. I had tried to quit before, but I never really took it seriously. It was only when I went to light up and take a drag - and I literally threw up from it - that I knew I had to quit. So I went cold turkey. I stopped having headaches and migraines, and I stopped feeling sick all the time. As of today, it has been 15 months with smoking. I have never felt better, and I am so proud of myself. I now cannot stand the smell of smoke, and I know I will never smoke again. Please do yourself a favour, and quit before you become ill. You CAN do it, and you will feel so much better for it.
