Quit School Challenge 2024 Winners and Finalists
We are excited to share the results of the 2024 inaugural Seeing Through the Haze School Challenge! After a rigorous selection process, we are thrilled to announce our winning entries and finalists who showcased their exceptional talents and hard work.
Submissions were judged by an expert panel from Quit and VicHealth who examined entries against a set of key criteria including:
Knowledge: Does the submission showcase the student(s)’ understanding of the harms/effects of vaping?
Creativity: Is the submission creative in its concept, design and structure?
Relevance: Does the campaign communicate its message effectively by promoting a smoke-free and vape-free environment?
Action: Does the campaign have a clear call to action?
Judging criteria
All students of winning entries receive a $100 Teen Gift Card and an opportunity to collaborate with the Quit social media team to amplify their winning campaign. Finalists receive a $50 Teen Gift Card. All participating schools receive a letter of recognition co-signed by Quit and VicHealth.

Quit said: "We like the use the emojis which is relevant for this audience and simple to understand. Lots of information, presented in an easy-to-understand way. Covers a lot of facts and is bright and age appropriate."
VicHealth said: "Informative and punchy video with plenty of good facts. Tagline is catchy! Great knowledge of the diverse harms of vaping."
