I just quit smoking (cold turkey) 18 days ago and I smoked for 16 years, about 10-15 cigarettes a day.
Now into the third week and I feel excellent! No more coughing, no more phlegm and I've got heaps more energy. I feel I can breathe heaps better and I'm doing heaps more exercise.
The first week is hard, you just got to keep doing stuff (mints, exercise). Second week was the hardest thing I have ever done. Craving three times as strong, just keep focused on how good I feel and keep thinking about my kids and how I can beat this ... and I did! By the third week cravings are pretty much gone and I feel so good training a lot more, I lost 10kg, food tastes so much better, sleeping better and I have got heaps more energy.
