Getting the help that suits you best is a great way to quit. Nicotine replacement therapy and advice from Quitline counselors can make quitting easier. These can be used by people quitting vaping and/or smoking.
Quitting smoking and/or vaping can be done in different ways. Some people quit cold turkey, by just stopping without extra help. Others try to smoke or vape less each day. Quitting with a buddy can also be a good method.
You may hear about alternative methods for quitting, such as hypnotherapy and laser treatment. But there is no good evidence that these increase the chance of quitting in the long term.
