About the ACT Quitline (13 7848)

Quitline (13 7848) is a confidential, evidence-based telephone counselling service. The ACT Quitline operates Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm AEST.

How can Quitline help

Aboriginal Quitline is also available to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who smoke and/or vape.

Quitline is a safe space for people in LGBTIQA+ communities.

Quitline is tailored to meet the needs of priority populations, including people living with a mental illness, youth and pregnant women.

People who have a hearing or speech impairment can call via the National Relay Service. The option of an interpreter is also available for people who speak a language other than English.

Quitline encourages the reporting of concerns; we will respond to complaints promptly, thoroughly and fairly, and to immediately act to secure protection for children at risk
